Privacy policy
What this site collects, why, for how long, and how to have it corrected or deleted.
Last updated: September 4, 2026.
This policy explains what LashRetention, a product published by MLJ, SASU, does with personal data collected through lashretention.com. It is written to be read in one sitting by the person who runs the studio, not by a lawyer. If anything here is unclear, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com and you will get a plain answer.
Who is responsible
The data controller is MLJ, SASU, a French simplified joint stock company registered under SIREN 934 769 837, whose publication director is Jimenez Julien. The controller can be reached at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com. There is no separate data protection officer, because requests are handled directly by the publication director.
What the contact form collects
The contact form on the home page of this site collects exactly these fields, and nothing else: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your studio name), role (your role in the studio, chosen from a list), request (whether you want a demo, early access or a quote), size (how many beds you run, chosen from a list), message (your free text description of your current rebooking), and consent (the box you tick to allow us to reply). Two hidden fields, subject and recipient, route the message to the right inbox, and a hidden anti spam field named bot-field is left empty by human visitors.
The form does not ask for a postal address, a phone number, a payment card or any information about your own clients. Please do not paste client names or client contact details into the message box. If you do, they will be deleted when spotted.
Why we process it, and on what legal basis
Your submission is used for one purpose: to answer you and, if you ask for it, to arrange and run a demo of the product. Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation the legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the consent box, together with our legitimate interest in responding to a commercial enquiry that you sent us. We do not use the form data to build advertising profiles and we do not enrich it with data bought from third parties.
Who processes and stores submissions
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which hosts this site and operates the Netlify Forms service. Netlify acts as our processor under a data processing agreement. A copy of each submission is also delivered by email to the publisher's inbox. No other company receives your submission, and we never sell, rent, trade or otherwise disclose it to a third party for their own marketing.
How long submissions are kept
An enquiry that does not lead to a subscription is deleted twenty four months after the last message exchanged, from both the Netlify Forms store and the email inbox. If you become a customer, your contact record is kept for the life of the account and for three years after it closes, which is the period we need for accounting and for handling any later dispute. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no cross site tracking pixels. There is no Google Analytics tag, no advertising network tag and no social media tracking script on any page. The only requests that leave your browser go to the font service that serves the two typefaces used in the design, and to the hosting provider that serves the page itself. Because there is no tracking, there is no cookie banner to dismiss.
Your rights under US state privacy laws
If you live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we hold about you, to obtain a copy of it, to have it corrected, to have it deleted, and to opt out of any sale or sharing of it for targeted advertising. We do not sell or share personal information for targeted advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of, but the request will be honored and confirmed in writing. California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising these rights, and may use an authorized agent. Requests are answered within forty five days.
Your rights under the GDPR
If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection, and you may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of what was done before you withdrew it. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, which in France is the Commission nationale de l'informatique et des libertes.
How to exercise your rights
Send one email to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com saying what you want. No form and no account are needed. We may ask one question to confirm you are the person who sent the original submission, and no more than that.
Children's privacy
LashRetention is a business tool sold to licensed professionals and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, write to the address above and it will be deleted promptly.
International transfers
Because the site and the form store are operated by Netlify in the United States, data submitted from Europe is transferred to the United States. That transfer relies on the European Commission standard contractual clauses included in our agreement with the processor, together with the technical measures described below.
Security
All traffic to this site is served over HTTPS. Submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest. Access to the form store and to the product database is limited to the publication director and protected by two factor authentication. Product client records inside a customer account are encrypted at rest, isolated per account, and never used to train any model.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects you, the date at the top of this page changes and the previous wording is kept on file. Customers with an active subscription are told by email before a material change takes effect.
